The word trend, latest and in fashion take away our originality. We have stopped thinking about what kind of clothes we want to wear, so that we look good and feel comfortable. Instead we find out what the celebrities are wearing. We look at the latest collections of fashion designers. We make our choice from these. We don’t make our own fashion.

This does not apply to our thinking, our motions and our value systems. In these, we have our own standards. But when it comes to fashion, we fall in queue. Why? The designers are persuading us that if we don’t follow the latest fashion, we are backward and not up to date. Friends may laugh at us. Many of us display the latest acquisitions of designer clothes that we but at exorbitant prices. We don’t question the prices of top designers. Why?

It has to do with some amount of brainwash all of us have undergone by the marketing companies. If everyone becomes independent and makes his/her own fashion, how will they survive? Many of us buy the latest clothing, wear it once or twice and then never wear it again, because it has gone out of fashion. We spend money again and buy the latest. Fashion has affected us to such an extent that we don’t question about these issues. We simply follow the herd.

1) Talk less; listen more.

2) Listen to your grandfather’s stories about his youth. When he’s gone, you will relive the bond through these memories.

3) Invite friend over for a snack or dinner even if the house is a mess.

4) Eat popcorn in the living room even though its messy.

5) Invite the friends who have children home. Don’t worry about their children creating a mess.

6) Sit on the grass even though it dirties your pants.

7) Never buy something just because it lasts for a long time or because it is practical.

Stay in bed and at home when sick and stop pretending that the world cannot go one without me for a day.

9) Light up the wonderfully crafted candles and let them burn out. Better this than they accumulate dust in the closet.

10) Share life’s responsibilities with a partner, not only expenses.

11) (Meant for Women) Instead of waiting for the pregnancy to get over, cherish each moment in your heart. Understand that the life in you is the only chance you will get to help god create magic.

16) Play with a pet every day. Laugh and run with it and take part in all its antics.

18) Stop sweating because of all the small details and problems of life.

19) Grab every moment, look at it and live it. That moment will never return again.

Her name was Susan, and she had one six year old daughter. Susan taught me these few basic ideals that I have tried to follow in honour of her memory. It has made me a better man, a much nicer husband and in general, a happier person. “Rapad Eye Movement” Movimiento rápido de ojos, que es un estado de sueño.

Las iniciales de los apodos de los miembros de la banda son T Boz, Left Eye y Chilli. También sugiere los acrónimos de “Tender, Loving y Care”.

17) UB40:
La banda fue desde un principio relacionada con temas políticos y fue nombrada a partir de un formulario de desempleo en británico.

18) U2:
Un tipo de avión espía usado por los estados unidos, Bono explico una vez que U2 creci?de pensamientos de interacción con la audiencia… como en “you too” (vos también).

19) Velvet Underground:
Nombrados a partir de un titulo de un libro de sexo desconocido que uno de los miembros de la banda había encontrado tirado en la calle.

20) XTC:
Esta banda de punk fue formada en 1976 antes de que usar drogas sea popular. La banda había cambiado su nombre original Star Park luego de mirar a Jimmy Durante clip en el que dice:”Estoy en Éxtasis!”

21) Yeh Yeh Yeh:
De acuerdo a Karen O, la inspiración de esta banda de Hip hop vino de la frase Newyorkina que significa “Whatever”.
